Plot points on an x and y axis
A coordinate plane uses a horizontal x-axis and vertical y-axis to locate points with ordered pairs. The crossing point is the origin. Enable or disable the axis guides in the editor and adjust the grid spacing to fit the lesson or exercise.
Understand the four quadrants
The axes divide the plane into four regions. Quadrant I is upper right, Quadrant II upper left, Quadrant III lower left, and Quadrant IV lower right. Coordinates are commonly written (x, y), with the x value first.
Print at actual size
Choose a standard or custom page size and print at 100% for consistent grid spacing. You can also download SVG for a scalable vector page.
